Privacy policy

This notice explains how Accel handles information in Accel - AI Benchmark (the “benchmark”). It supplements Accel’s external privacy policy, which describes Accel’s privacy practices, legal bases, international transfers and applicable privacy rights. Learn about the service on our About page.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address, account identifier and basic profile information, such as your name and profile image, provided when you sign in with Google.
- Company information. Company name, website or domain, sector, company type and other profile details you provide, along with your role and workspace membership.
- Benchmark submissions. Quarterly company financials, headcount, labour and other costs, AI spend, departmental breakdowns and business performance figures you enter. Please provide company-level figures rather than personal information about employees or customers.
- Technical information. Browser and device information, IP addresses, authentication events and diagnostic logs processed to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the service.
Google account data
Google sign-in requests your email and basic profile. We use this information to authenticate you, check your work email, associate you with a company and manage access. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or Calendar. Google account information is not sold or used for advertising.
Authentication is handled through Supabase. You can revoke the app’s Google access through your Google account connections. Revoking access does not automatically delete an existing benchmark account or company submissions; contact us to request deletion.
How information is used and shared
We use information to operate company workspaces, save and review submissions, calculate AI ratios, produce benchmark comparisons and reports, provide support and protect the service against misuse.
Authorised members of your company can access its workspace and submissions. Accel administrators can access company records to administer the benchmark and review data. Providers supporting the service process information as needed for their functions, including Supabase for authentication and data storage, Lovable for hosting, and Google for sign-in. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, as explained in Accel’s external privacy policy.
Other participants see aggregated peer benchmarks rather than identifiable company submissions. Comparisons require at least five eligible peer companies per metric and quarter after all filters are applied, excluding the requesting company. Results for smaller groups are suppressed.
Browser storage
The app uses browser storage to maintain your sign-in session, remember preferences such as your theme, and preserve in-progress form data. Service providers may also process cookies or similar information needed to operate authentication and hosting. Clearing browser storage may sign you out or remove unsaved drafts.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as necessary to operate the benchmark and fulfil the purposes described here, including applicable legal obligations. Contact us for information about retention or to request deletion. Company records may need to remain available to other authorised company members independently of your individual account.
Access controls restrict company data to authorised users and administrators. No service can guarantee absolute security. Accel’s external privacy policy explains its safeguards and arrangements for international processing.
Your choices and contact
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where relevant, or complain to a supervisory authority.

We may update this notice as the benchmark changes. The date above identifies the latest version; material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel.
