A benchmark from Accel for technology companies to understand how much they invest in AI, how that investment is used, and how their spending compares with peers.
From company data to four AI ratios
Enter quarterly company financials, labour costs, headcount and AI spend in two intake pages. The benchmark calculates AI intensity, AI burn, AI labour ratio and AI maxing: four ways to understand investment in AI products and internal productivity.
View your results alongside aggregated peer distributions, select relevant company cohorts, and download a report. Both AI-native and non-AI-native companies can participate. Higher spending alone does not establish better business performance.
Sign in with your work account
Google sign-in verifies your identity and work email so you can access your company workspace. We request basic profile and email information, not access to your Gmail, Google Drive or Calendar. New colleagues may need approval to join an existing company. You can read this page, the framework and our privacy policy without signing in.
Private submissions, aggregated comparisons
Company submissions are available to authorised company members and Accel administrators. Other participants receive aggregated peer benchmarks, not your identifiable submissions. A benchmark requires at least five eligible peer companies after filters are applied, excluding your company. Smaller groups are suppressed.
